| Evaluate Technologies
You should first research and evaluate currently available technologies to determine their effectiveness for your organization’s Web site. In this document, technologies have been divided into four levels based on the level of complexity they will bring to a Web site: Getting on Line, Enhancing Your Site, Interactive, and Electronic Commerce.
Once you have identified technologies, research and evaluate each of them to see if and how it can fit into the organization’s vision of the Web site. How will this technology effect the content or design of the site? How can this technology be used to its greatest potential? Which specific technologies will be most effective in helping to reach the goals and objectives of the organization and its Web site? Through this research and evaluation, you can decide which specific technologies to use in creating your organization’s Web site.
