2009-2010 General Operating Support Grant Application Deadline -On Hold

The application deadline for 2009-2010 General Operating Support Grants for Museums and Official County Historical Societies is currently on hold until the Commonwealth Budget is passed on July 1, 2009. The eGrant application system is not open for use at this time. If the application process is resumed, all applications must be submitted via eGrant. Please be aware that museum organizations with operating budgets over $500,000 will be required to complete a Pennsylvania Cultural Data Project profile. For assistance or more information, please contact Scott Doyle at (717) 783-6012 or midoyle@state.pa.us or review the GOS grant program guidelines.

2009-2010 Keystone Historic Preservation Grant Application Deadline - March 1, 2010

The application deadline for 2009-2010 Keystone Historic Preservation applications is currently on hold until further March 1, 2010. The eGrant application system is not open for use at this time but will be available on January 4, 2010 for application preparation. Please review the Keystone program guidelines to verify if your organization, historic building and scope of work are eligible for the grant program and contact Karen Arnold, program manager at (717) 783-9927 or kaarnold@state.pa.us.

2009 PHMC Grant Workshops

PHMC is in the process of scheduling the Fall series of grant workshops to assist organizations with the preparation of PHMC grant applications. The workshops provided an overview of the grant program, upcoming changes to the program, eGrant instructions and the opportunity to meet with all of the PHMC grant program managers. If you cannot attend a workshop, PHMC encourages you to contact a grant program manager to discuss your potential project. An electronic grant application process is in place and applications may be transmitted directly to the Commission where they will be reviewed and processed electronically into the Commission's grants database. All applicants are required to use the electronic application process. Exceptions must be discussed and approved by the Commission.
