Welcome
Welcome to the Anyone Can Fly Foundation Web site. We feature a journal of information about African American Visual Artists, and other artists of the African Diaspora, art projects for kids, grant applications, and donations of art for sale to support our important educational mission.
Our Mission The mission of the Anyone Can Fly Foundation is to expand the art establishment's canon to include artists of the African Diaspora and to introduce the Great Masters of African American Art and their art traditions to kids as well as adult audiences. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported by people devoted to the visual arts.
Grants The primary function of the Foundation is to offer grants to professional scholars, educators, art historians and teachers who want to research, write, and teach about the Master Artists of the African Diaspora to both adults and kids. The Foundation offers two grants: the Professional Scholars Grant and the Art with Kids Grant for Elementary Schools Grant. Application Deadline for 2007 is February 28, 2007. Grantees are selected without regard to race, creed or color. |
